I studied both English and Film in college, not knowing what path to take.  While I didn't have the patience to write a novel, I could get lost working through an edit that didn't feel quite right.  Today I still love editing because each project is a new puzzle to solve.  Despite limitations in budget, time or in-focus footage, the reward after each project is a happy client.  And while the edit suite is often a dark and lonely cave, it's the collaboration that keeps me excited for each new pitch.
